Focus on innovation: INSIDE M2M’s annual developer meeting for the IoT platform M2MGate

Today, developers from all INSIDE M2M locations gathered at the Hanover Production Technology Centre (PZH) in Garbsen to develop new innovation opportunities for our IoT platform M2MGate.

Once a year, the entire development team meets with the management to develop and prioritize innovative ideas in a focused round. While we work continuously on the platform throughout the year, this meeting offers a special opportunity to provide new impetus in a targeted manner. Our developers contribute their extensive expertize to identify potential for M2MGate - from the optimisation of existing features to the development of new areas of application.

Ideas were generated in a structured manner using the open space method. After a presentation of the current state of development, all of the participants’ innovation ideas were collected, thematically bundled and further developed in workshops. This not only resulted in creative approaches, but also concrete technical feasibility studies and implementation plans.

Finally, the moderators presented the most important results in a concluding round. This summary now forms the basis for the next phase, in which the best ideas will be further concretised and translated into measures.

Now the implementation begins. We would like to thank everyone involved for their valuable input and look forward to taking the next steps in the further development of M2MGate together!

20 years INSIDE M2M

Today we are celebrating a very special anniversary! For twenty years, we have been supporting our customers from a wide range of industries in the digitalization of their business processes. We have implemented numerous projects with customized IoT solutions - from networked mousetraps to remotely maintainable heavy-duty cranes. In 2004, the four company founders started in a small office in Garbsen with 20 square meters of space. 20 years later, we are represented at 3 locations with a motivated team of 50 employees. We would like to thank all our customers, partners and employees who have accompanied and supported us over the past 20 years. We look forward to continuing to develop innovative IoT solutions in the future and to looking to the future together. We are ready to accompany you on your digital journey and support you in your IoT projects with consulting, development, hosting and support. The journey together continues: here’s to the next 20 years of INSIDE M2M and the exciting challenges of the future!

700 kidwishes

On 20.12.2023, Uta, Kari and Michael experienced a special Christmas party organized by UFU and Serve the City Hannover.

Both associations called for donations to give presents to almost 700 children who had to leave their homes. Thanks to the generosity of 24 companies, including our own participation, numerous wishes could be fulfilled. The joy and gratitude of the children was an unforgettable sight. We are proud to be part of this wonderful initiative and thank UFU and Serve the City Hannover for this opportunity.

INSIDE M2M at B2RUN in Hannover

On June 27, 2023, 11,500 participants from 518 teams ventured onto the 6.5 km course in Hannover - and INSIDE M2M was there too! The team had prepared intensively for the event, with training sessions, mutual tips and the joy of personal performance improvements.

In the end, 14 runners from 3 INSIDE M2M locations took on the sporting challenge, enjoyed a lot of fun and everyone crossed the finish line in good shape.

Although it was primarily about having fun and getting fit together, we are a little proud of it: Ingo Haase, CTO and company founder, took 22nd place out of all 11,500 participants, and even 2nd place in his age group! We say: Congratulations!

HANNOVER MESSE 2023

For almost 80 years, Hannover Messe has been a magnetic attraction for people and companies worldwide at the world’s largest exhibition center. INSIDE M2M is also presenting itself under this year’s guiding theme “Industrial Transformation - Making the Difference”.

INSIDE M2M AWARDED THE BSFZ SEAL FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Since June 2023, the research allowance certification body has been awarding the BSFZ seal as a clear signal for companies that can prove that they are actively investing in research and development.

INSIDE M2M GmbH has now been awarded the BSFZ seal for its in-house research and development activities in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

And, of course, our customers also benefit from this: all our R&D activities flow into our M2MGate platform, which we use to build tailor-made IoT solutions for companies that want to digitize their products and machines.
